Biochar is a stable, carbon-rich material produced by heating agricultural residues in a low-oxygen process called pyrolysis. It improves soil health and locks carbon away for the long term.

Agricultural residues such as rice husk, rice straw, bamboo and tea bush prunings are collected and processed through sustainable pyrolysis, which converts biomass into biochar without open burning.

Residues are often burned or left to decay, releasing carbon and degrading soil. Converted into biochar, the same material restores soil health and creates income opportunities for farmers.

Farmers provide agricultural residues, we collect and convert them into premium biochar, then return the biochar for a transparent conversion service fee.

The India Biomass Exchange is a future digital platform we are planning to connect farmers, biomass, logistics, industry and climate action across India. It is a roadmap item, not yet built.
